I have worked at the radio station for almost 5 years. I started working here when I was a junior in high school as the secretary. I have been around radio my entire life because my dad is the general manager/ owner of the radio station, and I guess you could say I have it in my blood just like my dad. I continued to be the secretary and then started working my way up the ladder. At that time I started doing the traffic end of the radio station. Traffic is the whole billing system, commercial logs, the scheduler and much more. My mom was doing this job at the time and she taught me this job. Then I started doing part time sales along with my other jobs. Now, I have basically worked my way into doing full time sales. I still help with traffic and secretary duties but my main job is sales. I love working at the radio station it is a lot of fun and excitement. I will hopefully one day work my way into the management position with my dad. I basically pretty much know every aspect of Channel X94. I have watched my dad and mom from the time I was old enough to learn and learned a lot about music and radio from them. It has been a great experience and I look forward to what is to come.
