Cheryl is reportedly being stalked by a convicted killer who visited her home following the death of Liam Payne.

The alleged incident comes following the former Girls Aloud singer and television personality going through a difficult few months, following the death of her ex Liam Payne. The two were in a relationship between 2016 and 2018 and share a seven-year-old boy named Bear.

The former One Direction member and soloist died on October 16, following a fatal fall from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Outlets including The Star and The Sun have recently reported that Cheryl is being stalked by a man previously convicted of manslaughter.

Alongside the 2012 charge of manslaughter, the man was also jailed for four months last year for an offence that took place in July. On top of that, he is reported as “displaying fixated, obsessive, unwanted and repetitive behaviour” towards Cheryl as per The Star.

He was previously given a three-year restraining order from the singer, which prevented him from contacting her, going to her address or entering Buckinghamshire. The outlets report that he has been charged with breaching the terms of the restraining order.

On December 10, the man allegedly entered Buckinghamshire and went to “an address where [he] knew or believed Cheryl Tweedy was present” and tried to contact the singer.

The alleged incidents involving Cheryl reportedly date back to last year when she made her debut in the West End show 2:22 A Ghost Story. At the time he allegedly sent disturbing messages and flowers to her.

The Sun also reports that the man pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Kingston Crown Court in 2012 after assaulting a man at a homeless shelter. A month after the attack the victim went back to hospital and died a day later. The cause of death was ruled to be a fracture to his left ankle, pulmonary thromboembolism and deep vein thrombosis of the left thermeral vein.

Reports of the man breaking the conditions of the restraining order and allegedly attempting to contact Cheryl come following the former X Factor judge spoke out about the “indescribably painful” death of Payne, and urged people to “give Liam the little dignity he has left”.

“As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being,” she wrote.

“Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our seven-year-old son. A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again.

“What is troubling my spirit the most is that one day Bear will have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation we have seen in the past two days,” she continued. “It is breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in his future.”

Yesterday (January 8), Liam Payne’s cause of death was confirmed by a doctor at a new UK inquest as “polytrauma” –  meaning multiple traumatic injuries sustained by a body’s organ systems.

Five people have been charged in Argentina over the death: Payne’s friend Roger Nores, CasaSur Palermo hotel manager Gilda Martin, reception head Esteban Grassi, Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Paiz.

Wrongful death charges were made against Nores, Martin and Grassi, with the judge noting: “I do not believe that [Nores, Martin, and Grassi] planned and wanted Payne’s death. They did not plan the result but created a legally disapproved risk.”
