Ja Rule has shared that his one resolution for 2025 is to be petty.

The New York rapper took to his official X/Twitter account to share the one change he plans to implement in his life during the new year. “My new year resolution is to be PETTY… 🤣💯,” read his tweet.

Fans were quick to comment on his resolution, with one calling out the rapper’s age. “You’re 48,” wrote one, to which Ja Rule responded: “I’m technically 12 I can be as petty as I want… 🤣,” referring to his birthday falling on February 29.

Another X/Twitter user took the time to bring up the rapper’s feud with 50 Cent, tweeting: “Well be petty wit 50 Cent cuz remember when he bought all your tickets on Groupon just so your show could be empty? Yeah that’s petty asl.”

The ‘Always On Time’ hitmaker was quick to call out the user, and asking for proof of 50 Cent’s alleged purchase of all the tickets to his show.

🧢 🧢 🧢 You believe this dumb shit??? Like I said before I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage a photo shit what city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat fucking LIAR 😂🤣😭

Ja Rule is set to hit the road next year with Nelly for the latter’s 2025 Where the Party At Tour in celebration of 25th anniversary of the ‘Hot in Herre’ rapper’s debut album ‘Country Grammar’. The likes of Eve, Chingy, and Jermaine Dupri are also set to serve as support on select dates. Visit here to purchase US tickets, here for UK and European tickets and here for Australian tickets.

In other news, earlier this year, Ja Rule was denied entry to the UK due to his criminal record leading him to cancel his scheduled gigs in the country.

He also reflected on his decade-long hiatus from recording music and teased a new album. “Damn sitting here listening to my new album 12 song in it’s making me a lil sad I should’ve never stopped making music I’m SORRY,” he wrote.

His last release ‘Pain Is Love 2’ was released during his incarceration, and was delayed several times before its release. It served as the sequel to his 2001 album ‘Pain Is Love’ and sold 3,200 copies in its first week.
