Noah Kahan has announced a huge show in Cardiff – scheduled for the same weekend as Glastonbury 2025. Find all the details below.

The Grammy-nominated folk-pop star is due to perform at the inaugural edition of the Blackweir Live concert series in the Welsh capital on Friday June 27.

It was previously confirmed that Kings Of Leon would be topping the bill at the event on the Sunday (June 29), with support coming from Courteeners.

Tickets for Kahan’s Cardiff gig go on general sale at 9:30am GMT next Friday (February 28) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can sign up to access a pre-sale at the same time next Thursday (27).

The addition of Kahan on the Blackweir Live line-up marks his third outdoor UK/Ireland show for this year. He’ll headline BST Hyde Park in London on July 4 (his biggest-ever UK date) after playing Dublin’s Marlay Park on July 1.

Kahan will then head to Europe for festival appearances at Rock Werchter, NOS Alive and Mad Cool.

Kahan’s current list of tour dates means he is free to perform at Glastonbury Festival on either the Saturday (June 28) or Sunday (29). His potential debut appearance at Worthy Farm this year would likely see the musician take a major slot.

The first line-up poster for Glasto ’25 is expected to arrive next month. In early January, Neil Young was announced as the first headliner after he initially pulled out of the event due to it being “a corporate turn-off”. The songwriting icon said: “We were told that BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot of things in a way we were not interested in.”

However, Young backtracked on these remarks shortly afterwards, admitting that there had been “an error in the information received”. “Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing! Hope to see you there!” he wrote.

It has also been confirmed that Rod Stewart will take on the coveted Legend Slot on the Sunday afternoon, with Nile Rodgers & Chic set to appear on the Pyramid Stage in the following slot.
