Wet Leg debuted seven new songs at their intimate Brighton comeback gig yesterday – watch footage below.
Over the weekend, the Isle Of Wight band teased a surprise gig at Brighton’s Green Door Store on Sunday (March 23) and at the Moth Club in the capital tonight (March 24).
Though initially announced without revealing the band’s identity and shared under the pseudonym Uma Thurman – with the caveat the real actor “will not be in attendance” – they confirmed their involvement by sharing a link to the Moth Club date on their social media accounts.
Tonight’s gig at the Moth Club gig currently has a waiting list, which you can access here.
After a quiet spell, Wet Leg appear set to return with new music, which they’ve been steadily teasing for a while. At last night’s gig, donning black wigs à la Thurman in Pulp Fiction, the ‘Chaise Longue’ artists reportedly played an 11-song set, including a slew of new songs.

The live debut of new music comes after the band shared their return earlier this week and a 30-second teaser of their first new material in three years.
They then announced plans to kick off their new era with two shows in New York and Los Angeles at the Market Hotel in Brooklyn on March 31 and The River in LA on April 8.
Posting on Instagram they wrote: “Hey there neighbor been a while hasn’t it? why dont u come on down to the bottom of our garden? its about time we had ourselves a little gathering…just a couple of special nights in NYC US and LA US.”
Wet Leg are inviting fans to a pre-sale on March 28, which they can sign up for here.

The band’s last release was their 2022 self-titled debut LP. It earned them two Grammy Awards, for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance, while in 2023, they also won the BRIT Award for Best British Group.
The record received a glowing five-star review from NME‘s Rhian Daly, who wrote: “Wet Leg began life while Teasdale and Chambers were riding a Ferris wheel at a festival, where the pair decided to give music another chance; fittingly, their debut album feels like a giddy race around a funfair, those pesky lows batted away with wit and wisecracks like a game of verbal whack-a-mole.”
Elsewhere, Wet Leg are set to perform at a handful of festivals including Glastonbury, Green Man, Shaky Knees Festival, Roskilde Festival, Wilderness Festival, Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool, TRNSMT 2025, Boardmasters, All Together Now Festival and Øya Festival.
