Glastonbury 2025 is officially sold out after the final tickets were taken in just 19 minutes during the re-sale this morning (April 27).

The general admission re-sale went live at 9am, when a “very limited” number of final tickets for this year’s Worthy Farm festival – those that were returned or the original buyers had not paid the balance for – became available.

The official Glastonbury X account confirmed that they were sold out at 9:19am. “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have now been sold,” they wrote. “Thank you to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those who missed out.”

Glastonbury introduced a new queuing system for tickets this year, meaning that rather than needing to constantly hit refresh to access the booking page, everyone is randomly assigned a place in a queue once sales begin. Your place in the queue is symbolised by the number of green bars that appear on the screen – with many finding themselves stuck on exactly two bars for excruciatingly long periods.

On Thursday, the tickets with coach packages went on re-sale and sold out in 31 minutes, with many complaining about the queuing experience and longing for the old ticket-buying system to return.

The initial batch of standard tickets went on sale on Sunday, November 17, before the line-up had been announced, and were snapped up in just 35 minutes, while the coach packages all went in 32 minutes on November 14.

When will Glastonbury 2025 take place?

Keeping with Glasto tradition, the 2025 festival will take place on the final weekend of June, running from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29 at at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.

Emily Eavis recently confirmed a fallow year for the event at Worthy Farm is set to take place in 2026 to “give the land a rest”. That means there will be a one-year break before Glastonbury returns in 2027.

Who will be performing at Glastonbury 2025?

In January, it was revealed that Neil Young would be headlining the Pyramid Stage this summer as part of his ‘Love Earth’ world tour with the Chrome Hearts.  He had initially pulled out of Glasto ’25 due to it being “a corporate turn-off”, owing to the festival’s partnership with the BBC. Young later backtracked, however, citing “an error in the information received”. It’ll mark his second time topping the bill at the farm, following his debut appearance in 2009.

The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo will also be headlining this year – gracing the Pyramid on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Closing the Other Stage will be Loyle Carner (Friday), Charli XCX (Saturday) and The Prodigy (Sunday). Rod Stewart will be taking on the coveted Legend Slot on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon.

Other big names across the weekend include Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines and Wet Leg.

2024’s festival saw Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA headlining, with other memorable sets from the likes of Shania Twain, Little Simz, Fontaines D.C. and IDLES.
