Sorry have shared a menacing new single ‘Jetplane’. Check it out below.
Marking their first new music in 2025, the track follows ‘Waxwing’, shared at the end of last year.
In the same minimalist vein as ‘Waxwing’, the track is built around an eerie bassline as vocalist Asha Lorenz rapidly sings: “Arrest me/I’m a hot freak/I’m bombastique/I’m making modern music/In Spain/I’m on the jet plane.”
It also includes a sample of Guided By Voices’ 1994 hit ‘Hot Freaks’, contributing to the disorientating aura.
Sorry have once again teamed up with FLASHA Productions (Asha Lorenz & Flo Webb) for the music video, which sees them explore “the worst of internet culture”, per a press release. Check it out below.
Next month, Sorry will be heading on a UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off on May 1 in Bristol. They’ll then head to Manchester, Leeds, Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham and Birmingham before wrapping up in London on May 10.

Sorry’s last album ‘Anywhere But Here’ was released in 2022. In a four-star review, NME shared: “‘Anywhere But Here’ might feel heavy-hearted, and a sliver of Sorry’s edge might have been diluted in their bid for accessibility. But, at its core, the record continues the thing that made them so exciting in the first place – chaotic, brilliant curveballs that capture the confusion and commotion of life right now.”
Ahead of the release of the LP, the band hinted about what was coming next in an interview with NME. “We have some ideas about the future, and me and Louis have been recording lots of other shit, both together and separately,” Lorenz said.
“I think we’re going to put some more stuff out quite quickly, but we’re also looking to make some more stripped-back [music], going back to how we worked before, producing it ourselves and getting a great mixer in or something.”
