Strange Basin #5 with the Zombie
Post Malone has closed out the second and final weekend of Coachella 2025, and he was joined by Ed Sheeran and Jelly Roll. See the footage below.
Malone headlined the main stage at Coachella for the second time on Sunday (April 21), performing a career-spanning set that saw him play his biggest hits, as well as newer songs – all receiving country-tinged mixes.
To close out the 2025 edition of the Californian festival, Malone enlisted the help of Sheeran, who joined for ‘Sunflower’ – taking the place of original studio collaborator Swae Lee. Sheeran played acoustic guitar, following Malone reacting: “Holy fuck,” as he walked on stage, adding: “I didn’t even know he was here tonight.”
Later, Jelly Roll joined for ‘Losers’, taken from Malone’s 2024 LP ‘F-1 Trillion’. Malone also took the opportunity to promote his forthcoming stadium tour, which kicks off April 29 and features Jelly Roll as the opening act.
“I’m so fucking grateful to be able to have the fucking opportunity to be able to go on tour with the kindest soul such as yourself,” Malone told the rapper. “I knew from the first moment that I fucking hugged you that you had the biggest heart in the fucking universe, and I can only say thank you so very much, and thank you for coming out tonight and I love you and I can’t wait to kick some fucking ass. You are the greatest motherfucker in the world.”
Check out both moments below.

Notably absent was Morgan Wallen, who was featured on Malone’s latest single ‘I Ain’t Coming Back’ released on Friday (April 18).
Malone confirmed that has “made probably 35 songs” for a new record and it was now “a matter of which one’s rock, and which one’s sock”, adding he would “absolutely not” debut any new material at his two headlining sets.
He’s currently working with scratch vocals, but said the band had cut several songs. “I sit there and listen to these songs, and I usually hate listening to my music but listening to the band play, I get so excited,” he said.
Thanks to the success of previous offering ‘F-1 Trillion’, which saw him collaborate with the likes of Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, and Luke Combs, he’ll be heading out on his first stadium tour this year, the ‘Big Ass World Tour‘, alongside Jelly Roll. Having released an album every year since 2022’s ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’, he recently teased: “Hopefully, we’ll have some music releasing very, very soon.”

His Coachella set fell the day before Record Store Day 2025, with Malone acting as an ambassador for the event stateside. Before that, he fronted a reunited Nirvana for their SNL 50: The Homecoming concert appearance.
