Here are all the winners from the American Music Awards 2025

The American Music Awards are back after a two-year hiatus – see all the winners below.

Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the AMAs returned on May 26 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas. Being honoured with special awards this year are Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart and Zac Brown.

Janet Jackson will receive the Icon Award, Rod Stewart will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Zac Brown will be honoured with the inaugural Veterans Voice Award.

Going into the ceremony, Kendrick Lamar lead the nominations with 10 nods to his name, while Post Malone had eight nominations. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey had seven nods each. Tied with six nominations apiece were Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Taylor Swift.

Billie Eilish walked away as the biggest winner of the night, winning all seven of her nominations, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year – Eilish was not present at the awards and instead sent in video speeches thanking her fans.

Gracie Abrams won New Artist of the Year, while Eminem beat Kendrick Lamar for Favourite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Favourite Hip-Hop Album. Beyoncé won Favourite Country Album and Favourite Female Country Artist, while Post Malone was crowned Favourite Male Country Artist. SZA won Favourite R&B Song and Favourite Female R&B Artist.

Elsewhere during the awards, host Jennifer Lopez, special awardees Janet Jackson and Rod Stewart all performed, as well as Benson Boone, Gwen Stefani, Reneé Rapp, Blake Shelton and more.
