Will Smith, Jude Bellingham and more attend [UNVRS]’ huge return to Ibiza with huge visual spectacular 

Famous faces including Will Smith and Jude Bellingham attended the huge opening night for the new Ibiza venue, [UNVRS]. Check out the details of the night below.

The event took place on Friday (May 30) when the island’s new venue opened its doors for the first time. Conceived by The Night League – the creative force behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza – and led by Owner, Founder and CEO Yann Pissenem, the space has been designed in an attempt to be the most visually spectacular in the world.

The inspiration comes as the space aims to tell the story of a club lost to time, reborn centuries later and crafted to live forever, and guests on the opening night were greeted by a huge sculpture of a UFO that appeared to have crash-landed at the entrance.

Other rooms around the site draw inspiration from cinema and art, with references to the brutalist movement, as well as retro-futurism, and contemporary art deco. Standout areas include the Wild Comet – a fully-equipped, fully-styled micro-club located within a toilet – as well as the open-air terrace called Gravity Garden, and the huge Dome area which has a centrepiece in the middle called the ‘Tree Of Life’.

The opening night featured a one-night-only production created by High Scream, led by Romain Pissenem, and also included cutting-edge kinetic lighting systems, immersive LED visuals, and acrobatic performances. Michael Bibi performed on the night too, as did Dutch DJ Carista, Ahmed Spins, and Adam Ten back-to-back with Mita Gami.

Joseph Capriati and The Martinez Brothers then joined forces later in the night for a two-hour set of house and techno, before handing the reins to Carl Cox and Jamie Jones, while Pascal Moscheni b2b Frankybeats, Salomé Le Chat, S.A.M, and KOKO performed in the Wild Comet.

“Opening [UNVRS] has been both a huge undertaking and a tremendous responsibility – a shared dream brought to life with passion, vision, and an incredible team,” said Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder & CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment. “From the very beginning, our goal was to contribute something new and meaningful to Ibiza’s rich clubbing legacy: a space that celebrates the island’s spirit while looking boldly to the future.”

Will Smith and Jude Bellingham were among the famous names who were in attendance for the opening night at the Ibiza venue, and more big names are expected to visit the new club soon as there are some big residencies coming up in the next few months.

These include Eric Prydz’s Holosphere 2.0, which is running between now and September 1, as well as residencies from Anyma, FISHER, Jamie Jones, David Guetta Galactic Circus, elrow, Carl Cox, ANOTR and Sara Landry. For the latter, the appearance will come as part of an exclusive show that is taking place on September 29.
