Noel Gallagher and Gibson have launched a new limited edition Les Paul Standard guitar. Find all the details below.
The soloist and Oasis singer-songwriter previously partnered with the US guitar manufacturer to create a limited run of Gibson ’78 Les Paul Customs. This summer, he launched a new Gibson Les Paul Standard, designed specifically for Oasis’ Live’ 25 tour, which came with handwritten lyric sheets.
Now, Gallagher and Gibson are further marking the Britpop giants’ hugely successful reunion by making the latter custom model more widely available for fans. Its first run was limited to just 25 models in a collector’s package.
The instrument was designed by the musician “to capture the sound, vibe, and aesthetics of the ’90s while bringing everything full circle for today’s audiences”, per an official description.
Ushering in “a new chapter in the iconic partnership” between Gallagher and the company, the guitar is available for a limited time only. Fans can purchase it via authorised dealers, Gibson Garage locations in London and Nashville, and on Gibson’s official website.
The Gibson Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard boasts a non-weight-relieved mahogany body with a bound maple cap and a mahogany neck with the artist’s preferred SlimTaper profile. Completing the classic look is a bound rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays.

Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece for precise intonation and sustain, along with smooth-turning Grover, Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, as well as a chrome switch washer and output jack plate.
The guitar’s pickguard is a black five-ply unit, similar to those typically found on Les Paul Custom models. Its electronics are described as “equally distinctive”, featuring unique chrome-covered Gibson P-90 Soapbar pickups hand-wired to individual volume and tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. Additionally, the control knobs are black Top Hats with silver reflectors and dial pointers.
The model also includes an artist signature reproduction decal on the back of the headstock, and comes in a hardshell protective guitar case.
“This guitar is simply too iconic and cool not to be released more widely and made available for more fans to get their hands on,” said Lee Bartram, Head of Commercial and Marketing EMEA at Gibson.

“Noel’s original Gibson Custom version of this Les Paul was the first guitar he played during the biggest rock ’n’ roll reunion of the 21st century. This Gibson USA version embraces that legacy, capturing a historic moment in British and global live music.”
Gallagher’s latest collaboration with Gibson comes on the heels of Epiphone announcing a new line of guitars paying homage to his Oasis bandmates Gem Archer and Bonehead.
Earlier this month, Gibson also shared details of its exclusive ES-345 guitar collection to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Back To The Future.
Oasis are set to kick off the Australian leg of their Live ’25 comeback tour tonight (Friday October 31) with the first of three shows in Melbourne, ahead of two gigs in Sydney next week. They’ll conclude the massive trek with a run of South American dates next month, with Richard Ashcroft supporting once again.
The band recently played gigs in South Korea and Japan with a temporary replacement guitarist for Bonehead, Mike Moore, who has previously played in Liam Gallagher‘s solo band. Bonehead had announced that he would be taking a planned break from the tour to continue with treatment for prostate cancer. He plans to rejoin the group onstage in South America.
Last month, Liam teased more UK dates to come at Oasis final Wembley concert, telling the crowd: “‘Champagne Supernova’, see you next year.” He later took to X/Twitter to further hint at additional shows, writing: “It’s not even half time yet.”
A British peer has since appeared to accidentally reveal that Oasis will return to Knebworth next summer. There has also been speculation that the Gallaghers could play more shows at Wembley and host a homecoming residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium.
