BABYMONSTER share invigorating music video for ‘PSYCHO’

Yesterday (November 18), YG Entertainment and BABYMONSTER released a music video for ‘PSYCHO’, taken off the girl group’s latest mini-album ‘WE GO UP’. The video – much like the track – features multiple concepts.

The several concepts in the video see the girls stumbling onto a crime scene in an apartment, in Japanese-inspired rooms, and a junkyard that’s later set ablaze.

The catchy track – which itself explores multiple genres including pop, rap, dance and rock – appears on their latest mini-album, ‘WE GO UP’. That EP released on October 10 after a short delay due to the album’s initial October 1 date landing on the Chuseok holiday.

YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk explained at the time: “Just like how the US celebrates Thanksgiving, Korea celebrates Chuseok over a long period in early October. It’s just logistically inconvenient to release and distribute the album then.”

Other tracks on the EP include ‘We Go Up’, ‘Supa Dupa Luv’ and ‘Wild’.

The EP has marked the group’s first collection of songs since their November 2024 debut full-length album ‘Drip’. The K-pop girl group also released their first mini-album called ‘BABYMONS7ER’ in April last year. The project included their debut single, ‘Batter Up’, as well as the hit single ‘Sheesh’.
