Lorde and Sadie Sink

Lorde brought out Stranger Things star Sadie Sink during ‘Green Light’ in London last night – check out footage below.

The Kiwi pop star recently wrapped up the North American leg of her 2025 ‘Ultrasound’ world tour in support of her fourth album, ‘Virgin’, and the UK and European leg of the trek brought her to London’s O2 Arena last night (Sunday November 17)

At the gig, Lorde brought out Sink, who recently starred in Tony-nominated Broadway play John Proctor Is the Villain, which heavily features ‘Melodrama’ track ‘Green Light’. The two jumped up and down as the track was performed, with fans of both saying the moment “meant everything”.

Speaking to Vogue earlier this year, Sink was asked about the use of ‘Green Light’ within the play, and poured praise on the Kiwi pop star. “Oh my God, I’m a huge Lorde fan,” she said. “I’m so excited for the new album. Solar Power was such an important album for me.

“To follow an artist through her many different eras…she really was that person for me.” In turn, Lorde went to see her turn in John Proctor Is the Villain during their Broadway run in July.

Following another night in London, Lorde is set to make stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin. You can find any remaining tickets here.

In a four-star reviewNME described ‘Virgin’ as “a vibrant combination of Lorde’s best qualities, and then some”. It added: “With her newfound candour, the record combines the emotional whirlwind of ‘Melodrama’, the chilling minimalism of ‘Pure Heroine’ and the breezy freedom of ‘Solar Power’. This might be called ‘Virgin’, but Lorde proves she’s not afraid to strip herself bare.”

Meanwhile, Lorde brought out Charli XCX for a joint rendition of ‘Girl, So Confusing’ during her show in Los Angeles late last month.

In other news, Lorde has been announced for NOS Alive 2026 and All Points East 2026 and recently sparked rumours over a potential surprise slot at next year’s Primavera Sound.

As for Sink, who wrapped the final season of Stranger Things before the play, she teased an emotional final chapter for the Hawkins residents at the beginning of the year.

The first portion of the final season will arrive on November 27 at 1am GMT, while the second will drop at the same time on December 26. Its finale then follows at 1am on New Year’s Day in the UK.

The first five minutes of the opening episode have now been released via Netflix’s social media channels, and you can watch them here.

The show’s final episode will also debut in over 350 cinemas in the US and UK, with the screenings starting at 5pm PT on December 31 – the same time as it drops on Netflix.
