Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman have announced details of a 2026 co-headline tour, which will see them perform across North America.

The two acts are set to come together for a run of shows next spring, where they will perform both solo and together. For Waxahatchee, it comes following the latest album ‘Tigers Blood’ being released in 2024, and Katie Crutchfield dropping the standalone track ‘Mud’ earlier this year, which was an outtake from the album’s recording sessions.

For Lenderman, his latest record was also released in 2024 and called ‘Manning Fireworks’. Since that LP dropped, he has joined a number of artists sharing music to help those affected by Hurricane Helene, and worked with Nate Amos from This Is Lorelei for the song ‘Dancing In The Club’.

When Lenderman and Waxahatchee hit the road together, dates kick off on April 13 at the Symphony Hall in Atlanta, before continuing over the following two nights in Asheville and Richmond.

Later in the month, they will make stops at venues including The Met in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Paramount, Beacon Theatre in New York City, and Wang Theatre in Boston.

After further stops in Chicago, Toronto, Milwaukee and more, both wrap up the tour with four stops in May, taking place in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Support comes from Brennan Wedl and tickets are on sale now. Visit here for tickets and more information.

The collaboration between Waxahatchee and Lenderman also arrives following Katie Crutchfield and her twin sister Allison launching a new band, Snocaps earlier this year, and dropping a surprise debut album that featured the North Carolina singer-songwriter.

The project marked the first time the sisters have released music together since P.S. Eliot in 2011, and aside from Lenderman, guest appearances also came from Brad Cook – who produced and engineered most of the record too.

Waxahatchee’s ‘Tigers Blood’ album was awarded the full five stars by NME.

“These songs offer a more adult and grounded perspective than ones like ‘Lone Star Lake’ and ‘Evil Spawn’; they’re about the person who feels like home rather than the one who gets your blood pumping,” the review read. “It’s a nice counterweight that feels emblematic of ‘Tigers Blood’ — it’s a burning fire, and it’s a warm summer evening at once.”

The album also landed the 35th spot on NME’s 50 Best Albums Of 2024 list.

As for Lenderman, his fourth solo LP ‘Manning Fireworks’ was released in September and landed a spot on NME’s 50 best albums of 2024 list. The track ‘She’s Leaving You’ was also included in NME’s 50 best songs of 2024.
