Win tickets for Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics live at The O2 arena via Priority

Tong’s show has been described as “the ultimate celebration of dance music” and the two gigs at The O2 arena next month will see the legendary DJ teaming up with The Essential Orchestra and long-term collaborator Jules Buckley for a night of sheer euphoria.

The new show will also feature a host of special guest DJs and singers performing reworked takes on classic house tracks. The first gig on December 13 will see  Ali Love, Clementine Douglas and Jazzy take to the stage while December 14 will play host to MNEK, MYSDIGGI, Sonique, and DJ Andy Baxter.

​​The Ibiza Classics project started in 2015 when Pete Tong was invited to curate one of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. That first show, a collaboration with Buckley and the 65-piece Heritage Orchestra, took six months of rehearsals. “I wanted to add gravitas to the history of dance and electronic music,” Tong explained in 2017. “I plan each show just like a DJ set,” he continued. “I wanted to reflect the night time side of Ibiza and the daytime side as well, so I wanted the show to ebb and flow.”

“It was never a plan to do any more” but after footage of the show went viral, Tong took the gig to The O2 arena the following summer for a sold-out gig. Since then, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics has played shows around the world and returns to London this winter.

Tickets for the two shows are on sale now but O2 and Virgin Media customers can also win a pair of free tickets by using the Priority app here.

The prize draw opens to Priority members at 10am GMT on November 18 and will close on December 1 at 10am. There are five pairs of tickets up for grabs for the show on December 14 and winners will also be able to attend an intimate set in the O2 Blueroom alongside a meet and greet with Pete Tong.
