Another wave of sexual misconduct lawsuits were filed against Diddy yesterday (November 19), per court documents obtained by Rolling Stone.
Lawyer Tony Buzbee and his co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale filed the lawsuits against the rap mogul – real name Sean Combs – with five more anonymous accusers, three men and two women, claiming they were drugged and sexually assaulted by him in incidents in New York and Miami dating back to 2001.
One woman claims in the lawsuit that she was drugged and forced to perform oral sex on Combs and his bodyguards in an SUV limousine following a Halloween party at a nightclub in Manhattan aged 18, while one of the male accusers claims he was invited back to Combs’ mansion in Florida for an after-party after meeting someone associated with him at a Miami nightclub in 2022.
He claims that Combs gave him a drink and led him into a bedroom where Combs allegedly “demanded” that two women perform “sexual dances” for three men. The accuser claims he lost consciousness and woke up naked with Combs sexually assaulting him.
Combs denied these fresh claims of sexual misconduct through his reps, with his media team telling Rolling Stone in a statement: “As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process.”
Combs, who rose to prominence in the 1990s after founding Bad Boy Records and signing the Notorious B.I.G., was already the subject of over two dozen lawsuits, while he’s also battling a criminal prosecution and has been held in a federal jail in Brooklyn since his arrest on September 16.
He was denied bail after offering a $50million (£38.4m) bond, and was reportedly placed on suicide watch, while he has since appealed against the bail denial. He pleaded not guilty to an indictment that saw him charged with racketeering and sex trafficking, and his trial in the federal criminal case is set to begin on May 5 next year.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stone reported last week that, according to court filings the publication obtained, Combs has broken jail regulations by paying prison inmates to use their phone accounts, with prosecutors claiming they have the recordings of the various calls he has made. And, his son King Combs announced earlier this month that he’d be controlling his father’s social media while in prison.
