Kneecap‘s Móglaí Bap has raised over £30,000 for Gaza food parcels by running 10k a day on tour – and he’s now inviting fans along for the final run.
The rapper has been running 10k every day of Kneecap’s current tour to raise money for food parcels for Palestinians and to “raise awareness of the genocide in Gaza”. Today (November 21), he will be capping off his run by inviting fans to join him.
So far, Kneecap have revealed the rapper has passed the £30,000 goal, and that we “want to try get one huge last push on the final run/gig of the tour tomorrow in Kentish Town”.
Kneecap have therefore invited fans to run with Bap today at 3pm at the Kentish Town Forum, wearing “Palestine, Celtic,” or “Bohs” attire.
“As we’ve been on tour the people of Gaza are under relentless attack from the sky with British and US weapons. Let’s raise awareness and some aid to help them.” You can join Bap on his run today and donate to fund food parcels here.

NME spoke to the trio for The Cover, where they rallied against the “military industrialist complex” funding SXSW festival (which they, along with every Irish act, eventually pulled out of) in solidarity with Palestine.
They also reiterated their stance against Texas governor Greg Abbott, who told those protesting SXSW: “If you don’t like it, don’t come here”, to which Kneecap responded via NME at the time: “Suck our balls. Go see a concert instead of looking at guns all day.”
In their Cover interview, Bap said: “I stand by that”, whilst Próvaí added: “You’ve got to know when to fold ‘em, know when to hold ‘em, know when to suck our balls, know when to run.”
They are soon to play a Gig for Gaza charity show alongside Primal Scream, Paul Weller and Nottingham singer-songwriter Liam Bailey (who recently supported Weller on his 2024 UK tour). The show will take place on December 13 at the O2 Academy Brixton – you can buy your tickets here.
The band have previously made headlines for refusing to take off their Palestine badges in an appearance on Ireland’s Late Late Show, despite the RTÉ’s request.
Kneecap said on the show that they wore the badge “to highlight the genocide that’s happening in Palestine at the moment,” whilst DJ Próvaí took his jacket off to show Kielty and the audience he was wearing a Palestine national football shirt.
Shortly following their US TV debut on Jimmy Fallon, the band also released a statement in support of Palestine, writing on Instagram: “Tonight was a pre-record performance, which meant our ability to make a statement on current events was not possible. We will always use our voice to speak about the genocide being committed against the Palestinian people, sadly being facilitated by the U.S.”
“Use your voice to call for an immediate ceasefire and those responsible for war crimes to be brought to justice. Free Palestine.”
In other news, Kneecap have nabbed a spot on the BBC’s Sound Of 2025 longlist today – featuring Chappell Roan after a change to the rules.
