Diddy has been accused of threatening to eat the flesh of one of the contestants on his 2000s music competition show Making The Band.

New documentary The Making of a Bad Boy was released last week (January 14) on the streaming platform Peacock. The film explores Diddy’s early life and career, featuring interviews with people close to the rap mogul.

In the film, former Bad Boy Records signee Sara Rivers accuses Diddy – real name Sean Combs – of threatening her and her bandmates during her time on the show between 2002 and 2004.

“When he got angry with one of my band members, he said, ‘You make me so mad I want to eat your flesh,’” Rivers said. “And then he said to another one of my band members, he said, ‘You’re rolling your eyes, I could go get a crackhead and pay them $20 to smack the shit out of you.’ Who says that? That’s crazy.”

The 47-year-old also accused Diddy of groping her during filming: “He touched me in a place that he shouldn’t have. That was inappropriate. I felt intimidated, I felt like, ‘Oh my god, what the heck just happened just now?’”

She added: “I’m definitely nervous because, like I said, I haven’t said anything for so long and it’s built up. It’s been 20 years of going through my mind. This has happened, that’s happened, this was stopped. Mentally draining.”

Rivers was a part of the second series in the Making The Band reality TV franchise. Diddy hand-selected a group of six artists to form the rap group Da Band and signed them to his Bad Boy Records. They were released their gold-selling debut album ‘Too Hot For TV’ in 2003 before Diddy dissolved the group on the second season of Making The Band 2.

The documentary also sees Combs accused of having some sort of involvement in Notorious B.I.G’s murder back in 1997 by former bodyguard Gene Deal, with numerous people also coming forward to support accusations of Diddy abusing his late partner and children’s mother Kim Porter.

Diddy’s legal team have denied the claims explored in The Making of a Bad Boy: “This documentary recycles and perpetuates the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been slung against Mr. Combs for months.”

His lawyer continued (per Variety): “It is disappointing to see NBC and Peacock rolling in the same mud as unethical tabloid reporters. By providing a platform for proven liars and opportunists to make false criminal accusations, the documentary is irresponsible journalism of the worst kind.”

Last September, Diddy was arrested and charged with crimes including sexual trafficking and racketeering. He has since been held in a federal jail in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York City awaiting trial, which is set to begin on May 5. If convicted, he could serve anywhere between 15 years to life in prison.

Combs has denied all allegations against him. Diddy’s attorneys recently claimed that videos allegedly from the hip-hop star’s “freak-off” sex parties will instead “confirm Mr. Combs’s innocence” because they show sexual activity among “consenting adults.”
