Mumford & Sons played an intimate live-streamed show in Manchester – check out photos and the setlist below.
The gig took place at the Aviva Studios last night (April 2) and was held as part of a new partnership with Amazon Music, as part of the brand’s latest run of City Sessions.
It also came in celebration of Mumford & Sons’ new album ‘RUSHMERE’, which arrived last Friday (March 28) and marked the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Delta’. It is also Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane and Ben Lovett’s first record as a trio, following the departure of banjoist Winston Marshall in 2021.
While at the show – which will be streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch – the band broke out numerous tracks from the new LP. This included the title track and ‘Malibu’, which were both released as singles ahead of the album being shared.
Various classics from their back catalogue made their way into the setlist too, including ‘The Cave’, ‘Awake My Soul’, ‘The Wolf’ and ‘I Will Wait’, as well as a stripped-back, unplugged performance of ‘Timshel’.
Check out photos from the gig below, as well as the full setlist according to Last.fm.

The City Sessions is an ongoing concert series by Amazon Music, and has already seen performances from the likes of Kings of Leon, Nelly Furtado and Glass Animals. The Mumford & Sons gig marks the last of four shows across 2024 and 2025 presented by Aviva.
At time of writing, ‘RUSHMERE’ is currently on track to reach the top spot on the UK album charts this week, although is facing tough competition from The Darkness, who dropped their latest album ‘Dreams On Toast’ last Friday (March 28).
Discussing the race to reach Number One, the band’s guitarist Dan Hawkins joked that The Darkness should have the win locked in, and that he is determined to “beat those c**ts” in Mumford & Sons.
As for more Mumford & Sons live shows, the band have shared details of an upcoming US tour along with over 20 live dates as part of a European and UK tour, also celebrating their LP.
Before the tour celebrating ‘RUSHMERE’ kicks off, the band will be taking to the stage this spring for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool – locking in a headline slot on May 25. Find tickets here.
