The Maccabees have announced a brief run of UK and Ireland shows ahead of their headline set at All Points East 2025. Find all the details below.
The band confirmed last October that they’d be returning for their first gig together in eight years, when they top the bill at Victoria Park in east London on August 24. It’ll coincide with the 10th anniversary of their fourth and final album, ‘Marks To Prove It’.
Since then, the group have shared European tour dates for June and confirmed a slot at Glastonbury Festival 2025 that same month.
Now, The Maccabees have added a trio of UK and Ireland shows to their 2025 live schedule in the run-up to All Points East.
They’ll take to the stage at the Academy in Dublin on August 17 before heading to the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow (20) and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester (21).
Tickets for all three concerts go on general sale at 9am BST this Friday (April 11) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Wednesday (9) by signing up here.
In a new statement, guitarist Felix White said: “We can’t wait to be The Maccabees again! These shows will be really magical, playing the songs that form such a part of our collective lives, in the UK & Ireland in the lead up to All Points East Festival.
“It’s something we genuinely didn’t think would happen again and are really determined to make special now that it is. We’ll see you there.”

The line-up for The Maccabees’ forthcoming All Points East show includes the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, The Cribs, Dry Cleaning, The Murder Capital, Divorce and Prima Queen.
As preparations got underway for the big reunion, the band invited NME into their rehearsal space, where White told us it felt as if “no time had passed” since they last played together in 2017.
“It’s so strange. In the chunk [of time] from the last show, you could conceive of The Maccabees as a different existence, but as soon as we started playing, it was as if we hadn’t stopped,” he said.
The group also responded to rumours that new music could be on the cards, with White telling NME: “The plan is to do [All Points East] and see how much we love it.” Drummer Sam Doyle jokingly added: “We might hate each other by August.”
Frontman Orlando Weeks explained: “Everything we built together as people is very connected to being in a band. We’ve been able to achieve relationships outside of that, but there’s a totally other level of comfort in each other’s company when this is the reason we’re hanging out.
“The particularness of this type of companionship that doesn’t exist outside of this… It feels rarefied.”
