Yungblud has been announced as the final headliner at Electric Castle 2025.
The singer-songwriter – real name Dominic Harrison – joins previously announced headliners Queens Of The Stone Age, Bicep, Justice and Justin Timberlake at the annual music bash which will return to its home of the Cluj-Napoca on the grounds of Banffy Castle in Transylvania from July 16 through 20.
Other acts that have been added to the final bill include Rudimental, Róisín Murphy, Artemas, Jayda G, Fish56Octagon and Bad Nerves.
Fans can purchase tickets to the festival here. Tickets start at €159 (£130) plus fees. Camping accommodations are also available at the EC Village and start at €15 (£12) per night. Check out the full festival line-up below.
Other acts set to perform at the festival include the previously confirmed Refused, Leprous, The Amazons, The Sisters of Mercy, Nilüfer Yanya, Joey Valence & Brae, Sofi Tukker, Shaggy and more.
Last year’s edition of Electric Castle saw the likes of Massive Attack, Bring Me The Horizon, Queens Of The Stone Age, Chase & Status (live), Khruangbin, Sleaford Mods, Bonobo (DJ set), Nina Kraviz, Eats Everything, Jayda G and more perform.
Meanwhile, Yungblud recently showcased three new songs at a surprise show at the Scala in London – ‘Lovesick Lullaby’, ‘Zombie’ and his recent single ‘Hello Heaven, Hello‘.
Currently, little is known about his upcoming album, although Yungblud has been dropping numerous hints in recent months. Last December, he told NME that it is likely going to be a double album, and he also discussed how proud he is of the record and got fans talking by making a return to social media.
More recently, Harrison spoke to Apple Music and shared more details about what went into making the record.
“I’ve been listening to a lot of, old-old school music, going back to people like Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt and Led Zeppelin and kind of even Elton John,” he said. “Rock is my genre. I feel like I’ve been dabbling in many different things and trying to twist rock, but I feel like at the minute it’s exciting because rock music feels spherical… it needed to sound big, it needed to sound cinematic.”
In other Yungblud news, this summer, the Doncaster singer is set to perform at the second instalment of his own festival, Bludfest, which will also see appearances from Chase Atlantic, Denzel Curry, Blackbear and former NME Cover stars Rachel Chinouriri and Peach PRC. Visit here for tickets.
