In paid partnership with Priority from O2
Little Simz has announced a pair of huge UK arena shows for later this year – and if you’re an O2 or Virgin Media broadband customer, you can get Priority Tickets right now ahead of general release.
Last week, Little Simz announced that she’s going to play her biggest ever headline shows this October. The BRIT award-winning rapper will headline Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena on October 16 before taking to the stage at The O2 arena in London the following night.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Simz wrote: “Open mic nights, empty bar & pub gigs. Damn. How did we get here? Playing my first arena shows to date this year. Don’t quit, keep building it brick by brick. Can’t wait for us to dance again, gonna be proper.”
Little Simz will play:
OCTOBER:
16 – Co-Op Live, Manchester
17 – The O2, London
Tickets for the huge gigs go on sale Friday, April 11 at 10am BST but Priority Tickets are available now.
The shows will be in support of Little Simz’ sixth album ‘Lotus’, which is the follow-up to 2022’s celebrated ‘NO THANK YOU’. According to a press release, “the title ‘Lotus’ embodies renewal and growth, mirroring Little Simz’ evolving artistry and the album’s thematic voyage through life’s intricate phases.”
‘Lotus’ was originally due to be released May 9 but has been pushed back to June 6 due to new filming commitments. “Not ideal for me or you. Trust me, I’ve tried many ways around it but it just means I can’t do the film otherwise. If there was ever a time I ask for your grace and patience it is now,” she explained on Instagram.
‘Lotus’ lead single ‘Flood’ was recently included on Cillian Murphy’s ‘Spring Session’ playlist alongside tracks from Sam Fender, The Beach Boys, Bob Marley and The Velvet Underground.
Before the release of ‘Lotus’, Little Simz will be curating the 2025 edition of Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre, where she will be performing a one-off orchestral show. The Streets, Lola Young, Ghetts, Jon Batiste and Little Dragon’s Yukimi will also appear across the 11-day event.
