Papa Roach have shared a brand-new single called ‘Even If It Kills Me’ – their first song in three years. Listen below.

The track arrives ahead of the California band officially kicking off their 2025 European tour tonight (January 22), following a last-minute sold-out underplay in Berlin yesterday (21). It has been released via their own label, New Noize Records/ADA.

Is this a warning? Is this a sign?/ Should I keep my mouth shut?/ Let you live a lie/ ‘Cause everyday/ It’s a dog fight/ I can see it piling up like mile high,” barks lead singer Jacoby Shaddix in the intense first verse.

“‘Cause I hope that you know when you’re broken, I’m broken too/ If you need me I’ll bleed for you,” he adds ahead of an anthemic, thrashing chorus: “Even if it kills me inside/ Even if you burn me alive/ I’d carry that pain that you don’t need/ I’d carry that weight that you don’t see.”

The single is a “return to the band’s alternative hard-rock roots”, according to a press release. It is accompanied by an animated official lyric video – tune in here:

‘Even If It Kills Me’ follows on from Papa Roach’s 2024 collaboration with Carrie Underwood, ‘Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)’. The original version of the latter song appears on the group’s 11th and latest album, 2022’s ‘Ego Trip’.

The band will be out touring in Europe until February 5, before returning to the UK for shows at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham and the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. Find any remaining tickets here (UK).

They’ll then embark on a North American co-headline tour with Rise Against this spring. Visit here for tickets.

Papa Roach’s 2025 UK tour dates are:

FEBRUARY
07 – OVO Arena Wembley, London
08 – Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham
09 – M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool

The tour will see the group treat fans to “their biggest-ever production and journey deep through their vast music catalogue”, while also celebrating the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album ‘Infest’ (2000).

Papa Roach are said to be currently working on their 12th studio record, which is expected to arrive at some point this year.
