Gyubin drops playful music video for new single ‘Like U 100’

Gyubin has released her first mini-album ‘Flowering’, alongside a music video for its lead single, ‘Like U 100’.

Both ‘Flowering’ and the music video for ‘Like U 100’ were released today (February 26). The project, which marks Gyubin’s first body of work since she made her debut in 2024, features six new songs, including an English version of its lead single.

Meanwhile, the music video for ‘Like U 100’ featured the K-pop star performing the love song in a cafe. “I’m still figuring this out / Can’t put it into words, no way / I might be slow, but / Wanna let you know it ain’t love / But I like you back,” she sings.

Prior to ‘Flowering’, Gyubin’s last music release was the digital single ‘Satellite’, which came out in June 2024. In the same year, the singer also released the song ‘Special’, featuring Kim Jong-wan, as well as her viral debut single ‘Really Like You’.

Gyubin was recently featured on the February 17 edition of NME‘s The Cover, where the K-pop star spoke of what the new project means to her. “This album feels like my little treasure, something I’ve poured my heart into,” Gyubin told NME. “I hope it touches people the way I’ve imagined it would.”

To accompany The Cover, Gyubin curated an exclusive playlist of love songs for NME titled ‘The Playlist Of Us’, which includes timeless classics from the likes of the Bee Gees and Olivia Newton-John, alongside newer romantic favourites from Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and fellow K-pop singer IU.
