Little Simz, 2025

Little Simz has shared details of two new shows, which will mark her biggest headline UK dates yet. Find the details below.

It comes as the artist is gearing up to share a new album called ‘Lotus’ later this year. The record will mark the highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s ‘NO THANK YOU’, and was originally due to be released on May 9 via AWAL – although this has now been pushed back to June 6.

Two new shows have been planned to mark the release, both taking place in the autumn and seeing Simz play her biggest UK headline shows to date. They kick off with an opening night in Manchester, where the ‘Introvert’ singer will take to the stage at the Co-Op Live Arena on October 16.

The latter date will take place the following night, where she will perform a huge set at The O2 in London on October 17.

Tickets go on sale Friday April 11 at 10am, although pre-sale options will go live on April 9 and will be available exclusively to those who pre-order ‘Lotus’. Visit here to buy tickets.

Little Simz UK headline dates are:

OCTOBER:
16 – Co-Op Live, Manchester
17 – The O2, London

News of the new record comes as Simz wrapped up 2024 with the release of her single ‘Hello, Hi’ and hinted that there would be more to come in 2025. Simz also appeared on the recent Coldplay single ‘We Pray’, Sampha’s ‘Satellite Business 2.0’ and on Wretch 32’s comeback track ‘Black And British’.

She dropped the announcement of ‘Lotus’ with the lead single ‘Flood’ – a menacing track that saw her team up with her long-time collaborators Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly again.

This was then followed up by the second single, ‘Free’, which started off as a poem written by Simz and explored the frequent overlap between love and fear.

A press release describes the LP as an embodiment of “renewal and growth, mirroring her evolving artistry and the album’s thematic voyage through life’s intricate phases.”

In other plans for 2025, the Mercury Prize and BRIT award-winning rapper will be curating a boundary-breaking line-up for this year’s edition of the 11-day London festival, Meltdown. As well as organising performances across the weekends, Simz is set to play a one-off orchestral show at the event.

Alongside live performances, it will also include two weekends of free participatory programming featuring grassroots collectives and local organisations. Visit here for tickets.
