Tom Odell releases dreamy new single ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ while on the road with Billie Eilish

Shared today (April 25), the track marks the first new music from the singer-songwriter to be shared in 2025, and arrives as he is currently on tour with Billie Eilish across Europe.

In the track, Odell takes a romantic yet melancholic feel, ruminating on themes of love and life as well as tackling the struggles that come from yearning and heartbreak.

It opens with a sombre, ethereal melody, before the singer adds his soothing vocals to the mix. “We fell in love very quick/ Something about us just clicked/ Maybe we’re sick, sick in our hearts/ You touch me and I fall apart,” he sings, building up to the powerful chorus.

“The building is filling with smoke/ Read me that poem you wrote/ It gives me hope and it makes me choke,” he belts. “I’ve got my head in your palms/ I stare at the scars on your arms/ Don’t let me go/ I won’t let you go.”

According to a new description, the song was recorded at London’s RAK studios and comes as the first preview of a new full-length album. At time of writing, few details are known about the project including the name and release date, although it is expected to arrive later this year.

At time of writing, Odell is currently on tour with pop star Billie Eilish, as the singer embarks on a huge run of European dates to celebrate the release of her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ album. The tour commenced earlier this week with two nights at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena.

Next month will see the two of them play shows in Amsterdam, Hanover, Berlin and Cologne, before the final dates take place in June, and include slots in Prague, Krakow, Bologna and Barcelona.

As well as shows with Billie Eilish, Odell also has North American headline shows booked for this year too, including gigs in Washington, New York, Philadelphia and more in May and stops in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and more in September.

European solo shows are also booked for this summer, and include shows at the Radio One Big Weekend in Liverpool on May 24 and London’s Battersea Arts Centre on July 8. Visit here for tickets. Remaining tickets for the Billie Eilish shows can be found here too.
