Strange Basin #5 with the Zombie
Wheatus are set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled, debut album with a 2025 UK and Ireland tour. Find all the ticket information below.
The New York rock band’s seminal 2000 LP featured the breakout hit ‘Teenage Dirtbag’, which reached Number Two in the UK Singles Chart and has since been certified quadruple platinum.
To commemorate its anniversary, they’ll be playing it in full each night, as well as fan requests for favourites from their three-decade career.
“United Kingdom and Ireland – you’ve been patient enough. We are officially bringing our 25th anniversary tour to you this November and December,” the band wrote on Instagram earlier today (April 23). “It’s gonna be one of our biggest headline tours ever and we’re gonna make sure every night is truly special.”
They’ll kick things off in Dublin on November 23, before heading to Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Brighton, Norwich and more. They’ll then wrap things up on December 13 with an already-announced show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, as part of their joint tour with Bowling For Soup.
Tickets go on sale this Friday (April 25) at 10am here, and tickets for the Bowling For Soup show are already available here.

Though it’s gone on to be considered a pop-punk classic, upon its release, ‘Wheatus’ received a 4/10 review from NME, which read: “With any luck, we’ll never hear from them again.”
‘Teenage Dirtbag’ gave the band their biggest hit, and in the years since its release, it’s been covered by countless artists, including Peach PRC, Pale Waves, SZA and One Direction.
During the 2020 pandemic, over 100 Wheatus fans came together virtually to cover the track. It came after Wheatus frontman Brendan Brown announced the ‘Quaranteenage Dirtbag’ challenge in March following the cancellation of the band’s 20th anniversary tour due to lockdown.
The post Wheatus to celebrate 25th anniversary of self-titled debut album on 2025 UK and Ireland tour appeared first on NME.
