H1-KEY are due to make their comeback later this month.

On Monday (June 2), the group’s label GLG announced the K-pop group’s impending comeback with a new album. The record is scheduled for release on June 26.

The album’s title has yet to be revealed, nor has its pre-release schedule. More details are expected to be released soon. Per an official statement from the label, H1-KEY’s album will showcase a more diverse sound and style than the group have experimented with in the past.

The album will mark H1-KEY’s first release since the June 2024 mini-album ‘Love or Hate’, marking their return for the first time in about a year. That mini-album included hits like ‘Let it Burn’, ‘♥︎ Letter’, ‘Iconic’ and ‘Rainfalls’.

H1-KEY graced NME’s The Cover ahead of ‘Love or Hate”s release late June, where they spoke about how ‘Rose Blossom’ opened their eyes to the healing power of music as well as the mini-album. “The recurring idea is that we resonate with the youth, and sometimes that can mean giving hope and being about growth or getting hurt,” Riina said of the release, adding that it’s also about not being “lukewarm”, or half-hearted in life.

The quartet also told NME about their ambitions moving forward: “We want our music to be able to live with a person. Maybe not transform someone’s life completely, but perhaps give them some determination or touch their heart. When you talk to older people, sometimes they mention specific songs that helped them overcome tough times, or that a song reminds them of a certain time in life. That’s what I want.”
