A Bob Dylan tribute group called Not Completely Unknown are set to play at Glastonbury 2025, and rumours are circulating that Timothée Chalamet could make a surprise appearance.

The iconic Worthy Farm event returns between June 25 and 29 this year, ahead of a fallow year in 2026. Over the past few months, artists joining the bill have been steadily shared, along with the stages that they’ll be performing on.

This morning (June 3), the full line-up, stage times and stage splits were confirmed, with headliners on the Pyramid Stage being Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo, and Loyle Carner, Charli XCX and The Prodigy on the Other Stage. Rod Stewart will be taking on the coveted Legend Slot on the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon.

Other huge names on the bill include Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, The Libertines, Wet Leg, Weezer, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Future Islands, JADE, TV On The Radio, Self Esteem, CMAT, Blossoms and Turnstile.

One name that has got people talking is a band called Not Completely Unknown, who are a tribute to Bob Dylan and expected to perform on the acoustic stage.

Last month, rumours began to emerge that Timothée Chalamet may be performing with the band, following his portrayal of the iconic singer-songwriter in the critically acclaimed biopic A Complete Unknown. The role saw him get a BAFTA nod and eight Oscar nominations, and in the movie, the actor actually sang Dylan’s biggest hits himself, rather than mime them.

Now, more details have emerged about the group and their Glasto set. They will be taking to the stage on Saturday between 3pm and 4pm, and their set has been described on the Glasto page as “a celebration of the songs of Bob Dylan featuring: Paul Carrack, Sid Griffin, Katya, Ralph McTell, Liam O Maonlai”.

The band’s Sid Griffin has taken to his own website to share more details about the festival set too. “I really hope all you Glastonbury Festival goers pop by the Acoustic Stage at 3pm on Saturday June 28th to hear and witness this very special tribute to a great man,” he wrote.

“Not Completely Unknown will feature some of Europe’s greatest singers performing songs by America’s leading voice of freedom. It is going to be a VERY emotional day for me as I am the Host and all I can say is you are in for a treat and a surprise or two,” he added. “Bob, we are gonna do you proud. You have my word…”

“We can guarantee you that if it’s pouring rain, we’ll keep you dry; if the sun is splitting the trees we’ll give you shade and on top of that, if that needs topping, we’ll get to hear a selection of songs from one of the best songwriters ever to have walked this planet,” he adds.

If the surprises hinted at by Griffin did turn out to be a Chalamet appearance, it would follow on from the actor delivering a live performance of Bob Dylan hits on Saturday Night Live earlier this year.

Before then, the spoke about the importance of committing himself to the character in an interview with NME. “I had the time to put the 10,000 hours in, which in a three-month, four-month period you really can’t… There wasn’t a deadline on it,” he said. “I wasn’t learning for anyone else. I was learning for myself.”

Following the full line-up being shared today, it was noticed that there are a huge number of potential secret sets for this year so far. These include a ‘TBA’ at the Pyramid stage on Friday before Alanis Morrissette‘s set, a mystery show at Woodsies early on Friday at 11.30am, and a gap on the Park Stage for Saturday between Gary Numan and Beth Gibbons.

Names thrown around for potential surprise sets have included Haim, Sam Fender, Robbie Williams, Lorde and Yungblud. Check out the list of rumoured artists and TBA sets on the bill here.
