Boardmasters have shared the first artists joining the bill for 2026, with Fatboy Slim, Kasabian, The Kooks, and Loyle Carner leading the line-up. See the full bill so far first exclusively on NME below.

Next year’s edition of the festival will return to its usual site at Watergate Bay & Fistral Beach in Newquay, and run between August 5 and 9.

Today (Tuesday November 25), the first artists for the line-up have been shared, with Kasabian set to perform as headliners. The slot comes as the ‘Fire’ indie veterans are gearing up to release their ninth album ‘ACT III’ in the spring. It will be the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2024 album ‘Happenings’, and their Boardmasters slot will see them play tracks from that as well as earlier fan-favourites.

Joining them at the top of the bill is dance legend Fatboy Slim, who is expected to break out classics like ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and ‘Praise You’ and more recent tracks like ‘Role Model’ and ‘Bust Stop Please’, as well as indie icons The Kooks, who surprised fans at Reading Festival by bringing out Rebel Wilson as a surprise guest, and are heading out on a headline tour in the new year to mark the 20th anniversary of their classic debut ‘Inside In/Inside Out’.

Loyle Carner is also locked in as a headliner for Boardmasters 2026, having released his emotive fourth album ‘hopefully!’ over the summer, and delivered a memorable headline slot at Glastonbury’s Other Stage with guest appearances from Jorja Smith and Sampha.

Other names on the line-up for Boardmasters so far is psych-rock, reggae and electronic maverick Tash Sultana, who will be playing there as her only UK set of 2026, catsuit-loving rock legends The Darkness, punk duo Lambrini Girls, rising indie stars Florence Road, rappers Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, and Example, and former NME cover star Alessi Rose.

Indie stars The Royston Club will be performing at the Newquay festival too next year, as will Asha Banks, James Arthur, Pendulum, Rudimental, REN, and Gene Gallagher’s band Villanelle.

Boardmasters has always been about more than music – with surf lessons, cliff-jumping, coasteering, paddle-boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and coastal adventures available for punters too. Wellness packages on offer at the site are also back for the upcoming edition, and include sound baths, spa access, sauna sessions, hot tubs and ice baths, as well as group activities including yoga, cardio core classes, skate sessions, run clubs, jewellery and craft workshops, and more.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (November 28) at 10am GMT, and pre-sale options stat from Thursday (November 27) at 10am. Check out the new 2026 poster above, find a full list of confirmed artists below, and visit here for tickets and more information.
