fromis_9 are due to make a comeback this December, their label has confirmed.
The five-member group – now with ASND – are reportedly gearing up for a Christmas and holiday season release next month. The label announced in a statement: “fromis_9 will be making a comeback in December. We are preparing carols that are perfect for the winter season, so please show lots of interest and anticipation.”

Further details surrounding the project have yet to be revealed.
The album will mark fromis_9’s second release since all eight members parted ways with longtime label Pledis Entertainment and its parent company, HYBE, following the expirations of their contracts in December last year. Their last release was June’s six-track mini-album ‘From Our 20’s’. Prior to that, fromis_9 released one last song under Pledis titled ‘From’.
The band’s transformation from an eight-member group to a five-piece was first teased in March via new label ASND. Simply captioned ‘fromis_9’, the video featured monochrome video clips of the five singers as they pose for a photoshoot, overlayed with audio snippets of their own voices as they talk about their hopes for new beginnings.
The group’s five remaining members are: Song Ha-young, Park Ji-won, Lee Na-kyung, Lee Chae-young and Baek Ji-heon.
fromis_9 were formed in 2017 through the reality TV show Idol School and debuted in January 2018 with their first mini-album ‘To.Heart’ under Stone Music Entertainment. The group joined Pledis Entertainment in August 2021 following a change in management.
